On Faith & Fearlessness // A Vlog

I wish I could meet up with you, dear sister, at a tiny coffee shop. I wish we could order our favorite drinks - mine would be a chai tea latte, with soy. You would order yours. We'd sit at a little round table and sip from our big, steamy mugs as we share about our life and hearts.
It would be so encouraging, so fun.

But since miles separate so many of us, I decided to do the next best thing: record a little video for you.

I like to think of it kinda like a coffee date.

In this vlog, I share a little encouragement from my heart to yours - I pray it inspires you and reminds you to keep on keeping on and to know you are LOVED!

Stay strong, friend and keep on keeping on!

XO

Erin

  4. I'm so glad I found your blog a few days ago! I think fearless is such a great word and sometimes I think we don't realize how much fear actually affects us. I love how many times the phrase "do not be afraid" is in the Bible. It's such a strong reminder to let our worries, frustrations and fears disappear in Him.

I can't wait for more coffee date videos like this one. It was speaking to my heart this morning.

  8. It never ceases to amaze me the wisdom and encouragement you give so others can better themselves. It's truly inspiring! Vlogs are such a great way to connect with people, so thank you so much for creating this! It was definitely something I needed to hear this morning :)

On a completely different note, have you ever thought of having what some bloggers call a "V-Blate"? People sign up for a certain time and y'all have a coffee date over the internet. This link explains it in much better detail:http://www.wifessionals.com/p/v-blate.html. But you could change it up and have it be more personal and you would be able to connect with your readers more.

Anyway, sorry for writing a novel! Have a great day!

  9. Hey beautiful girl!! This was so sweet, I just love your heart to build others up in Christ and share what you are learning. This would be a fun link up, making vlogs and sharing what Christ is teaching us!

Hope you have a wonderful day, dear! Would love to get coffee IRL sometime soon! :)

  10. This is completely what I needed right now. I love the idea of picking a word to live by at the start of the year. We all have ur fears and it's so important to keep God at the center of that and to put more trust in Him. You have such a beautiful heart Erin. Thank you so much for sharing your uplifting words.

  11. Thank you for your ever-flowing words of encouragement! Seriously, it was just what I needed today. You know that singleness has been on my heart and I was just having thoughts of being single forever so your timing was perfect. Thank you for speaking God's love and care to me!

  12. This was my first time watching a vlog from you! I love putting a voice with the face. Thank you so much for this encouragement. You are always so uplifting and trust me, you are not only speaking to single girls, but to us married girls as well. Thank you for sharing the gospel in a fearless way. :)

  13. ERIN! You are so amazing. And I love this idea! I love the message in this and the encouragement that you instill in that message. Today I was reading Redeeming Love and if you have ever read it you might remember this part but this girl Susanna tells Angel (the main charecter) that she want to show her something. And she gets under her bed and grabs this hat box and in it are notes (prayers) that she dated and wrote down and put in this box to symbolize or to physically allow her to hand her worries, prayers, hopes, dreams etc up to God and fully surrender them over to Him. Then every so often she goes through them and writes the date they are answered. Once answered she takes them out of the hat box. And as I heard your message I thought wow you could do that with your fears! I takes a lot of courage to reveal and acknowledge your fear but it takes strength and courage and boldness to fully hand it over to God and say "Your will be done Lord, I surrender this fear to you." How cool would it be to see God work within you and provide for you everything you will need. I love this idea and I think that you should go with it! Lattes with The Lord.

  16. Hey Erin! This is awesome! =) I'm so excited that you are going to be doing more vlogs! I have been really wanting to do more in that area to and to develop a presence on YouTube, but I just haven't fully figured out what the focus and style of my vlogs will be. So for now I'm linking up with Alyssa for coffee date Fridays and we'll see where it goes from there. Love ya girl! =)
