Vlog: Do Not Be Anxious

Darling friends! I am starting the week off with a little coffee date vlog, 'cause I wish we could meet up to chat and share our hearts, and this is the closest to a real coffee date. Sharing a bit of an update on life lately, including the crazy fire that threatened my family's land (thank you for praying!) and a few things the Lord taught me through the experience. I hope you're inspired and encouraged to live for Him this week and to give all your cares and anxieties to Him, whatever they are - really big or smaller.

Share any prayer requests and anxieties you may have this week in the comments below,
and we can pray for one another.

Be blessed, dear ones!
Know you are so loved.
And the Lord has a plan for your life.
No worries :)

XO
Erin

  3. Aw! you are so lovely my friend! This video could NOT have been any more perfect timing--I have my last set of final exams for college this week! I could use some prayers for that and that just all my tests would go great and I wouldn't be anxious! thanks love! I love that phrase you talked about: "am I anxious...don't be anxious!" so true and comforting! God is good! love you! xo

  5. This is awesome, such good advice...

Glad to hear that you guys are okay, wildfires are so scary. I think sometimes when we go through stuff like that it's meant to strengthen us, you know, even if we do loose our stuff or our home somehow, it's meant to strengthen us and bring us to the right mindset and all the more closer to God and how he wants us to be.

Anyways, I appreciate the little tidbits of advice you put out there here on your blog, and it's funny because you and I are sooo totally not alike at all,(I'm from literally the middle of nowhere, and soooo not girly,...jeans and t-shirts over here, if I had a label it'd probably be hick, raising chickens and all that..), but I guess we are friends in Christ if you know what I mean.

The internet is so cool, it brings people into our lives that we would otherwise have never met or hung out with in real life. Anyhow...I admire your courage and little encouragements and advice, just know that it really does help and you really do make a difference with your blog.

...and that's a neat quilt block you have there..(I totally hoard random fabric hoping that someday I'll have enough to make an awesome patchwork quilt)

anyways, sorry for the incredibly long comment, I've really got to learn to be more articulate and succinct.

  6. So glad that your family and home are safe! It's amazing how experiences like that focus our hearts on what's absolutely truly important. Loved hearing your stories :)

  7. Hi sweet friend :) I'm so happy you felt lead to share this. Being anxious is something I am all to familiar with. It's something I feel like I'm walking through over & over. Remembering that if he takes us to it, he'll take us through it. Thanks for sharing your heart. Love you friend xo
