CLASSY + BUBBLY | style

Last Autumn, I met Caroline [Carrie Grace] of the popular online shop, Caroline G. Shop. You know those people you meet and instantly, pure kindness just oozes out of their smile? Carrie is one of those special [and rare] ones. She is passionate about loving on people, being generous, and being kind. She is truly one of the least-judgmental, sweetest, and most humble gals I've gotten to know. Recently, she very graciously sent me four gorgeous necklaces from her shop and I've loved wearing them in all different settings! I highly recommend her lovely shop, so check out the link below. And thanks to my sweet mama for modeling two of the necklaces for me!

  1. I'm somewhat confused here. I thought you tried to dress modestly, but here you're wearing a dress that could be found in any nightclub by any girl trying to catch a guy, if you know what i mean. I don't understand why you would wear such a short dress. Could you please explain?! I'd really like your input!! Thanks! :)

    1. hi girl :) i think modesty is a personal decision between each of us/our conscious + the Lord. For me,I try to honor God in all I do and I feel comfortable with this dress. Doesn't mean everyone will like what I wear or how I live, but that is my decision and I feel it is right. I hope you have a happy, good weekend :) xoxo!

    2. Amanda you hit the nail on the head. If you are a christian erin, the Bible does define modesty. You know men like short skirts, low cut tops and you are causing them to stumble all while boosting your ego. Do you really want Cowboy's brothers seeing you like this? Short skirts and tops and posing your leg out provacatively? You are a typical "look at me, look at me, attention whore." You do not look like a nice modest young woman. You look like you are trying to show off things that you ought not. Quit lying. Quit telling the world you are a pure, modest, save yourself till marriage christian. We all know better.

    3. "joyfulness" it's cowardly that you have to keep private who you are on here. It's actually super creepy. Maybe you should find something more productive to do with your time...

    1. Sure, the dress is short and I wouldn't wear it either but this is no place for judgmental words. Erin is a wise girl who doesn't need your opinion about how she chooses to dress. This world needs a little more love and a lot less hate. If you can't be kind with sharing your opinion and personal convictions then maybe it's best not to share them at all. At least I can't ever imagine those words ever coming out of Jesus' mouth. :)

  5. You are beautiful inside and out. These comments are nothing but hurtful, jealous words and I am so sorry they have landed on your page. Women should be ashamed of themselves for speaking to/of other women like that.

You are an amazing leader, an incredible example to so many, AND you look gorgeous in this outfit.

    xoxo

    1. Jealous, no. Disgusted, yes. She looks nothing like Jesus wants her to look and as a christian it is maddening to see her spewing out Jesus when she looks like a whore.

Also Erin, I am here to tell you that more people than you know, including very close friends are disgusted by the way you flaunt yourself and dress. Trust me, and Cowboys friends too. Pay attention. Not everyone likes it.

    2. Jealous, yes I think you are. Disgusting, yes you are. "joyfulness" you seem nothing but bitter and judgmental. Nobody wants to hear what you have to say on this blog. Maybe you should find somewhere else to complain. Go flaunt your severe words somewhere else--we aren't listening to you here.
